AN OVERVIEW

Among all the Cyclades islands, Ios has been for many years the one most loved by young people of all ages. And rightly so, since it combines all the ingredients of a Greek island that one would dream of. Well known as the island where the great poet Homer died, Ios is the place where beauty and culture meet party people from all around the world.

Ios is one of the most beautiful villages in the Cyclades with its whitewashed houses and steep narrow lanes, its small squares and churches.

The island have also a lot of fantastic beaches with crystal clear water, and offcourse the most lively party nights you can imagine.

In Chora (the main village)

Nightlife
In the evening the streets and squares fill with people, cheerfull voices and music, as everybody gathers to start another memorable party night.

Beaches
The longest beach of Ios and most popular is Mylopotas, one kilometer of golden sand, just 3 km from Chora and 5 km from the port. This is the where you relax, find more new friends or maybe continue party in the daytime.

Peolple will start to fill up the beach around 12.00, before that Mylopotas is almost empty.

You will find hotels, campings, bars, restaurants, mini markets and different kind of watersports here.

Season on Ios is between May - October and highseason, July - August.
